Keumur specializes in intra-Asian physical trading. Founded in 2010 by a team of former senior traders and management of Swiss majors, Keumur started with a strong focus on base metals, specifically aluminum. Over the years we have expanded and trade energy and chemical commodities. In 2022, we decided to expand and secured several eight-figure financing packages, established our Singapore office and grew our team. We have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the industry, and we are dedicated to providing top-quality added value to our clients’ supply chains. Keumur adds value to trade flows in a few different ways. We invest in production, transportation, processing, and storage to vertically intergrade supply chains, increasing simplicity and reducing exposure for the people we work with. Identify commodities we can make markets for and establish new flows. We also reduce risk, by taking both physical positions and using retail and OTC instruments to hedge various different forms of exposure.
In physical trading, people are everything. Personal relationships are the lubricant that keeps the engine of a successful trading house working. Keumur is made up of a combination of well-established traders with decades of experience working at majors and young, aggressive traders willing to seek out new opportunities
Asia is the world’s largest content, by population, geography, and economy. We focus on intensifying arbitrage opportunities and invest in adding value to the existing flows, or identifying novel flows.
